Soho-Cyberscan Film Set Scanning Rate Card

This process covers the scanning of film/TV sets and architectural locations, and can be broken down into two parts:

Data collection on set
This is the actual scanning of film/TV sets and architectural locations in the UK or abroad. Soho-Cyberscan utilises a special LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) scanning system  which allows us to capture the large area geometry of the locations involved. We can acquire data over an area of 100m x 100m x 100m per scan at a resolution of +/- 3mm. High reference digital images are taken as well to aid in the next stage.

Data processing
This is where data is taken back to Soho-Cyberscan and rationalised by a number of software tools and editing processes to create the complete CG model.

From previous work we have carried out, an average job takes 4 to 6 days scanning on location and 8 to 16 days processing of data. All 3D data is supplied on PC-CDROM in OBJ, DXF, 3DS or other 3D file formats as needed. All images in .psd, .tiff and .jpg format where applicable.

* When scanning locations out side mainland UK the costs of scanning will be amended to reflect the extra cost incurred by us.
