The hands of the massive on-set queen model were fused together, meaning that the hands would be inseparable on the resultant CG model from the scan. We thought that it would provide more freedom to the modellers and animators if we provided a model with separate hands and thus we not only cleaned up the data from the rather inaccessible (to the scanning head) hands, but also remodelled the data to provide separate hands. 1. Original raw scan data 2. Initial clean-up and hole-filling 3. Initial polygon sculpting 4. Completed model consisting of two separate hand models. |
